Panasonic plasma has always been choosen as best picture over Samsung and LG. Do your homework and make sure your looking at a review within the last two years. Panasonic wins period. Far more natural colors, especially over LED-LCD which makes movies look like they were filmed with video tapes. Comes up with Special Offers and Great Price Available,Panasonic S30 Plasma HDTV becomes a perfect choice. The picture quality of this plasma TV is simply excellent. Compared it with more expensive Panasonic "Infinite Black" G model and it's impossible to see the difference in real video content. You need to be in total darkness and have very high quality, low noise signal with large swatches of black and put them side to side to notice a slightly darker black in G models. Of course, just watching TV you will never think I wish blacks were deeper. The picture is crisp and clear and the sound is excellent. HDTV and HD movies broadcast wonderfully. This is a very good TV and weighs about a hundred pounds so If you want to mount it on the wall, it’s not that hard to do. There are more expensive TV’s with more bells and whistles, but this one is a great buy without compromise of quality.

A front shot of the Panasonic S30 plasma series shows the updated look of the bezel. Panasonic has been slow to catch up with other manufacturers when it comes to modern looking design but the 2012 Panasonic's are at least a step in the right direction. The picture performance for the price makes up for a slightly dated look. But again,simplicity is the best and the color is very nice. You can enjoy the quality pictures that this plasma TV produce without any distraction.

This shot shows the back side of the Panasonic S30 plasma HDTV series. The rear input/output panel section for audio in/out and video in/out is visible in the lower right. The input/output jacks face straight out the back which can be inconvenient for wall mounting but the television does have a selection of side facing input/outputs panel as well. The numerous cooling grilles also stand out in this shot. So not to worry about overheat issues for this plasma TV.

A very slim side view of the Panasonic S30 plasma series, this shot shows the 2.8" depth of the TV. It looks thinner than that for the most part but down at the bottom of the TV the casing juts out to the 2.8" mark. The thinner the better, you have more option to placed it anywhere you like. This shot also shows the side input/outputs panel of the panasonic s30 plasma viera HDTV, much more convenient for changing source cable if the TV is wall mounted. From it looks there's no worry about weight problem for wall mounting.
